Using Wednesdays Words

Words for Wednesday is a series of writing prompts that appear like magic on (you guessed it) Wednesday.  This week the words are provided by Elephants Child. (you can find her in my sidebar)  Why not join in.  Use the words any way you like....it's fun, it's free, what can go wrong, right?
If you do participate let us know in comments so we can drop in and read.
this weeks words are:  apple, balcony, catastrophe, deep, evil    and/or   fly, ghastly, heart, illuminate, jest.

Here we go:

A ghastly sin,
whispered the fly.
Don’t listen to the evil one.
Search deep, your heart.
Let the Light illuminate each and every part.
It was no jest,
that deep decree,
there WILL be a catastrophe.
DON’T EAT THE APPLE EVE!!!!!
Deb jolted awake with a start on her balcony.  “Well,” she murmured, “that was one warning that didn’t take.”  Without a second thought  she

swatted the fly buzzing over the bowl of apples on the table and selected a nice big red one for herself.
