Finished

Finally we're finished with the kitchen.  Just got to put some shelf liner in the cupboards.
Here's a before for you..

and here's an after...

The old girl was pretty beat up.  We just had it refaced so....pretty much like putting jewellery on a pig.
Blinds come on Monday and I'm still waiting for my desk.   How do people manage without a desk?

  1. How nice. How light and bright. I sure hope you have a desk on Monday, because there is no life without one!

    1. I wouldn't count on Monday for the desk...not likely for another two or three weeks. Sigh.

  2. What a beautiful update! White is so clean and bright. I'd be thrilled with that "old girl" made new if I were you :)

    1. Trust me...I am thrilled. I felt so closed in by the old kirchen doors.

  3. I do like your updated kitchen - particularly the glass cupboard doors. It is bright, clean and inviting.
Yay you. The lipstick has given the old girl a whole new look.

    1. As long as you don't open a cupboard door it looks like a new kitchen.

  4. From here, the old looks nice, but I guess it was a little dated, but then so am I. New does look brighter and I like the see through's.

    1. I have some close up shots that reveal the missing finish and gouges but I didn't feel like showing you those lol.

    1. Thanks. It feels so much better to work in. Not that my cooking will improve any sigh.

  6. It looks beautiful! As long as the underlying cabinetry is sturdy, even a resurfacing should last a good while.

  8. Your kitchen looks great, Delores.

My desk is a very important piece of my humble furnishings. I spend a lot of time at it.
