Words For Wednesday

Words For Wednesday is a weekly writing prompt designed to get our creative juices flowing.  This month the prompts can be found at Elephant's Child.  You can find her in my sidebar.  The prompts this week are of what looks like a house built into a hill and one of two seagulls walking along the beach squawking at each other.  Unfortunately for me, this week the prompts do not speak to me at all.  Maybe they will work for you.  Pop over and have a look at the photos and read some of the excellent submissions in comments.

"Did you see the legs on that one?"
"Never mind that.  What about the guy in the speedo with the sunburn?|
"Ooh...that's gonna hurt."
"This sand is hot.  How's about we fly around and see if we can spot an ice cream stand."

  1. They are difficult prompts, I agree. I've not participated but I do follow her blog.

  2. Hmmm. Sea gulls also drop excrement bombs. I would go with that idea.

  3. Sometimes the prompts just don't speak to us. Thank you for posting Bill's photos anyway.

    1. And I love that your muse finally spoke to you. And very clearly too.

  4. Your captions are perfect!

  5. I like this very much! You did well. Mine will be up tomorrow.

  6. Seagulls are such beautiful birds. They certainly enjoy life! And, I enjoyed your use of the image. :)

  7. Love it! Short, sweet, and funny!

I really like that picture, too. I swear, it looks like those gulls are carrying on a conversation.

  8. Somehow i can imagine the gulls talking trash about us!

It's lovely to know someone else is out there. Please leave me a comment...pretty please.
