Been There..Done That..Not Doing It Again

Today the sun shines, the birds sing, the grass is growing (oh nuts, the grass is growing).  All things taken into consideration I should be singing a happy song and dancing a jig.  Am I?  No, I am not.  For some strange reason I am feeling low.  I have no idea why.  Never mind...I've met this devil before and I know what to do.  I am not going down this road again.  Step 1....admit something is funky...Step about it .... Step 3...go outside (I don't care if you don't feel like it, go outside anyway)..Step 4 ... crank up the tunes...Step 5...get some work done....Step 6...focus on how damned lucky you are.  It usually works, if not, the doctor knows what to do.  I feel better already just getting it off my chest.
How are you feeling today?

  1. Similar, you are not alone. You're not Robinson Crusoe.... :)

Hosever, it is best I keep to myself...and my two furry rascals. I very. very rarely visit doctors. It's years since I have done so. And, fingers crossed, I hope the status quo remains.

Often the hole is very deep and quite dark. I find a miner's lamp helps!

    1. "However" what I meant to type...sorry for the typo. :)

  2. Getting outside is my solace when I'm feeling down. To be more precise, getting outside to walk. I hope you feel better soon, Delores.

  3. You have a great list of steps you know you need to take, to beat back the blues or the blahs. Years ago when my dad died, I forced myself to take a walk outside, just to the corner, one house away. I decided to keep going and walked several blocks and it was healing for me. I hope your day and week ahead are upbeat.

  4. Good luck.
Outside is a healer for me too. And laughter if I can find it.

  5. You are doing the right thing, Delores. Nip it in the bud.

  6. We do all have days like this ...
I find a walk outside does wonders ...

    My good wishes

    All the best Jan

It's lovely to know someone else is out there. Please leave me a comment...pretty please.
