Poetry Monday

Poetry Monday is the brain child of Diane of On the Alberta/Montana Border. You can find her in my sidebar.   Each week Diane provides us with a theme which we can use/or not...as we please.  Why not join in?   This weeks theme is 'our favourite thing to see....or do'.

Pussy Willows in the spring;
a sight that makes my heart to sing.
Flaming maples in the fall
hold my eyes and brain in thrall.
Fluffy snow on branches high
lift my soul and make it fly.
And when last, I go to bed
and lay me down my weary head
it's known that I have often said
my favourite thing of all is bed.

  4. Yes, my bed calls me. There is something so lovely about lying down after a long, hard day. Happy Monday!
