Back To Normal....Whatever THAT is

Yes, the days of insanity have passed....the gout is gone, the birthday is over and done with, the opposing  culinary preferences all sorted, this week Monday is actually Monday and all is well with the world.  The fridge is full of leftovers and I don't need to put any effort into cooking for a day or so.
So far this week glows on the calendar with only one day marked with an appointment and one day marked with a particular task that MUST be done.   It's looking like a good week.  Give it time lol.  Someone will find something to fill it up I'm sure.
This morning the sun is shining and it's above zero Celsius.  Can Spring be far behind?

  2. After the storm, calm sets in. Enjoy some me time and relax. Above zero, and you can imagine spring. I love an optimist.

    1. Oh I know there is likely moe winter on the way but I'll take this for as long as Mother Nature wants to hand it out.

  3. Any time the weather goes above freezing it has to be a good sign. I'm popping in from Elephant Child's blog to say hi!

  4. Gotta love the days after the big meals and celebrations - quiet time and no cooking!! I feel the glow from here! Glad the gout is gone, too. Why do those things always crop up at the worst times?

  8. Hope your weeks stays blissfully free of chores. I too have only one thing that absolutely must be done. The kitty litter tray needs to be completely emptied and washed out, then set in the sun to dry. Thank goodness I have a spare clean tray ready to go.
