Glorious pumpkins! Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween to all those who celebrate.
"BOO!"Trick or treat :)Happy Halloween.
Childhood Halloween memories are wonderful. I am sad for children who are not allowed to participate. It was my favorite holiday as a child.
What a cute poem. Not much trick or treating in our area. We do parties and organized t or t in the downtown business district where stores give out things to the children including hot chocolate and treats and coffee for the parents. Party after at the library. Nice and safe with police taking care of traffic, etc. Oh, of course there are corn mazes and haunted hay rides around at local farms too. Enjoy your day.

Spooooky! Happy Halloween. :)
I don't like the scary and gory aspects of Halloween, but I loved dressing up as a child and I like to see the little ones now who come to the door, so pleased with their costumes and excited to be out after dark. Not so much the big ones who don't bother with a costume except a mask to hide their faces - eek.
P. S. Happy Halloween, Delores :) Do I remember that poem from childhood?? The "shell out, shell out" part rings a bell.
WE all chanted the shell out thingie but the rest of it is just me.
Oh! Well done!
It was pouring rain on our "beggars night." We gave our candy to one of the brave dads who stood out in the rain, shelling out for all the wee ghosties shepherded by stoic parents.
Hmmm . . . I see who the REAL poet is!Happy Halloween!
Hope you had a good Halloween ... our grandchildren certainly did!All the best Jan
