Little Boys and Their Toys

We had the wee man over yesterday for lunch and supper and inbetweens.  He's ten now you know and such a gentleman.  Pleases and thank yous and can I help you Grandmas.   Gotta love it.  We took him to the toy store (Simply Wonderful it's called) and we must have spent an hour their making a very important decision about what to buy within grandma and grandpa's budget of course.  Then we had to decide on a tiny gift to take home to Sister.  (She'll have her turn next weekend)  "This one Grandma, it says #1 Sister on it."  And so, the purple, bedazzled jelly purse with #1 Sister on it was purchased along with a Playmobile School Bus.   The afternoon was spent happily assembling and acquainting Grandma and Grandpa with the various merits of said bus.  We were all tired out by the time we took him home.

  2. How wonderful that he wanted something so complimentary for his sister! Someone (or several someones) in his life is doing a great job :)

  6. A Playmobile School Bus? I haven't seen one of those in at least thirty years.
Hard to believe your little man is ten already and it's good to hear he has been raised with respect and good manners.
    Too many aren't these days.

    1. They've changed. They have flashing lights now just like the real bus.
