Good To Be Back

Just taking a minute here to let you know Words For Wednesday will be happening here during the month of February.  Gosh!  Just like old times.
I was so pleased when River (see my sidebar for Drifting Through Life) took over WFW.  My computer was (and still is) being a bit of a b**** and it was becoming difficult to get a simple post on line.  Eventually I shut down completely for almost six months.  During that time, River assembled a terrific group of writers who took turns hosting WFW.  It has become a global 'movable feast' of words and friendship.  I am so happy to be a part of it once more.
I hope you'll all join in during February and have a blast with the prompts.  I know I will.

  3. Was it me? I thought it was EC.
At least it's still going and I enjoy the challenge each week as much as ever.
Reading everyone else's take on the words is great fun too, there's a lot of talent out there.

    1. Well, if it was you or EC or Captain Kangaroo....I was and am grateful that someone took it over and kept it alive. In fact, I believe it is flourishing now like never before. So thank you to all of you who co-operated and participated. May we carry on and continue to enjoy writing.

  9. I've taken part a couple of times on Elephant's Child blog, but realized it's like a puzzle for me (remember I don't react well to puzzles)!

    1. People tend to try to use the words to make a story or poem but remember, you can just be inspired by any or all of the words to create something that doesn't necessarily USE the words. We just hope people will write...anything...anything at all....it's all about inspiration.

    2. I didn't realize that; thanks for telling me. Inspiration sounds good, much less like the dreaded puzzle :) I'll have a look tomorrow!
