Life Is Chugging Along

"You Know What 2016' is history.  Old news.  We're all tired of it.  The New Year is beckoning.  I don't know about you but I had to buy a 2017 calendar in October and, as I turn the pages, I realise that January 2017 is almost full up.  I thought life would slow down once I retired.  That's a laugh.

  1. After my father retired he told me he didn't know how he had found time to work. I thought he was exaggerating. I was wrong.

  2. The only thing I miss about work is calling in sick. When you know you're not really sick.

    1. Well actually you were sick....sick of working lol.

  3. My 2017 calendar only has two entries for January and both are dentist appointments :(
Hopefully future entries will be more fun.

  4. Replies
    1. Time seems to go into hyper drive once you hit your sixties.

  5. That's reminded me!
I still need to transfer birthdays / anniversaries and other important dates over to the new calendar ...

How many days have I got left to do this!
    Just about enough!

    All the best Jan

  6. We do cram in a lot of things when we no longer work. I have to agree, it makes me wonder how I did it all while working. Happy 2017

  7. My mother has always said she got more done when she was working than when she retired. She had a routine for everything, but now she puts things off because she can. I've noticed the same thing as my work is intermittent so I have days with routines and days without.

The week between Christmas and New Year's seems like a week in limbo, I find. Once the excitement of Christmas is over, I can hardly wait for the new year to start :)

  8. Hey I just want to appreciate your ability to work. You have set an example for us by posting such an informative post. Great work. legal spice

  9. Nice post, impressive. It’s quite different from other posts. Thanks for sharing. Liquid Bizarro Online

It's lovely to know someone else is out there. Please leave me a comment...pretty please.
