For The Kidlets

Leaf Crossing

I was crossing
the street
minding my own
business
when,
skitter scatter
what's the matter,
I was overtaken
by a dancing prancing crowd
leaping flying
over
and around each other
pushing
shoving
in the air
in my hair
leaves
were flying
everywhere.
We need
a
leaf crossing here

  1. Lovely poem, I'm imagining leaves skittering around everywhere now.

  2. The leafs have been blowing helter skelter here, too. Winter is coming whether I welcome it or not.

  3. I love it! Fall is my favorite season, but I always forget what a nuisance the leaves can become.
