Finally

The saga ends.  The phone is fixed.  Now, you ask, was the problem up the street or down the street?  Neither...it was in the box in the backyard next door....right where I told them it was.

  1. I was just about to send a comment on your previous post when this one appeared. My suggestion was: if the 1st opinion was that the problem was off in one direction and the 2nd placed it off in the opposite direction, logic --and intuition as well-- would invite us to divide opinions and take the average. This would place the problem near your house, right where you thought it was. Bell should be paying you for this service, Delores, and I'm glad you got your phone back. Brava!

    1. Not only will Bell not pay me for consulting services rendered, they will charge me for the four days I was without service. On top of that.....last month our monthly rate went up. Which one of those ancient Greeks to I consult about that Geo??

  2. I am glad. And totally unsurprised it was where you thought it was. When our phone died a while ago the 'helpful' person at the call centre told me it was a battery at the exchange which needed changing. Not.

  6. I get frustrated with our phone company. I always know where the problem is before they do!

    Have a great day.
